Project Brief
To design an inspirational and engaging exhibition structure or space based on the theme of “ecology”. The solution must be a temporary, freestanding, transportable and employ sustainable and ethically considered materials processes within its construction. Choice of materials should reflect and reinforce the subject matter that the design intends to promote
To be designed at ground level and not exceed 4 meters in height or 60 square meters in total area. The design should invite, inform, and engage visitors through the promotion of an aspect of sustainable design or behaviour. Pavilion design should encourage and highlight the need for ecological and sustainable design principles through its design and construction.
Careful consideration of form, function and material properties should be used to develop a scheme that invites people to think about our environment, how design can address climate change and how space can be used to encourage people care about these issues.
